Machine learning technologies are proving extremely powerful in many fields of signal processing, telecommunication and computer science. Compression is one of those fields where learning-based approaches are expected to revolutionize the practice and the performance.

This working group has the targets of:

• Keep an updated state-of-the-art about ML technologies for compression
• Gather scholars working in the field in the Paris-Saclay campus and besides
• Organize seminars and discussions about ML for compression
• Maintain resources such as datasets, (open-access) papers, demonstrators, software, mailing lists
